Q: I've also been working on my root chakra for grounding and stability. I practice breathwork, binaural beats, and see red light at the base of my spine. It's been three weeks now, and I do feel more secure but I don't know if I've actually activated it yet. How long should I practice to activate my root chakra before I move on to the sacral or solar plexus? Is there a sign that indicates to me that it's ready??

I started meditating in order to better manage my anxiety, but rather than feeling peaceful when I finished and throughout the exercises, I am even more anxious afterward and during. My thoughts are more tumultuous, my chest tightens, and I'm trapped in my head. I realize that meditation increases my anxiety. Why does this occur, and is it normal?
