Can yoga really fix a weak Moon in my birth chart?

My astrologer informed me that I have a poor Moon position in my Kundali, and that is the exact reason why I am emotionally unstable and have a tendency to oscillate with mood swings frequently. In order to enhance the planetary energy, she suggested some yoga asanas. My practices are habitual, and I do not know--how will physical movements and stretching produce a planetary influence on my mind? I am called Sujata of Junagadh. Did somebody born on or around January 29, 1980 at 7 PM really find such an approach helpful and will this approach really be effective in regards to my mental well being?
