Do I continue to meditate everyday or work on opening one chakra at a time?

I began meditating to control anxiety, and it's kept me calm. But I recently found chakra healing, and now I'm in doubt. Do I continue with overall meditation or try to open each chakra individually? I'm drawn to the solar plexus and heart chakras, but I don't know if I should delve into one or stick with daily mindfulness. What is better for deep healing and spiritual growth?
