How do I cope with severe social anxiety when giving public presentations in class?

Name: Pratik Date of Birth: 18 July 1998 Place of Birth: Ahmedabad Time: 11:30 AM. I hate public speaking in class. As soon as I'm asked to speak, my heart starts racing, my voice trembles, and I feel I'm about to pass out. I practice over and over but still get paralyzed when I'm speaking in front of the crowd. It's impacting my grades and self-esteem. I wish I could speak without freaking out. How do I overcome extreme social anxiety when giving speeches, especially since it's a part of my curriculum?

Namaste, Pratik. Born in Ahmedabad with a Cancer sun, you are naturally more comfortable "behind the scenes" than in the spotlight. Public speaking is a 2nd House (speech) and 3rd House (courage) issue. Your trembling voice is the "Water" of Cancer reacting to the "Fire" of being watched. Cause: An afflicted Mercury or a fear of "exposing the inner self" to the collective. Remedy & Solution:Blue Lace Agate: Carry this stone in your pocket. It is the "Stone of the Speaker" and calms the throat chakra. ● Mantra: Chant "Om Aim Saraswatyai Namah" to the Goddess of Speech. ● Action: "The One-Person Technique." Don't look at the class. Find ONE friendly face and deliver your speech to them. This tricks the Cancerian mind into thinking it's a private, safe conversation.
