How do I prevent panic before studying or exams?
I’m Meera, born 3rd April 2006, Bangalore, 2:15 PM. Despite preparing well, I can’t stop imagining that I failed. My chest tightens, I feel breathless, and my stomach churns. I keep asking myself: Did I revise enough? What if I forget everything on exam day? How will I cope if I fail? What can I do to manage this panic and feel more confident?

These physical sensations and racing thoughts can make it hard to focus, even when you are well-prepared. Anxiety treatment and stress relief techniques can help. Practice deep breathing, short mindfulness breaks, and positive affirmations to calm your mind. Breaking study sessions into smaller, manageable parts improves focus and reduces tension. Journaling worries or talking to a supportive friend helps release mental pressure. With consistent practice, panic decreases, confidence grows, and studying becomes more effective while maintaining mental calmness and emotional balance.
