4 months agoNamaste, Sneha. The body is the "Bhumidevi" (Earth Goddess) of your soul. When the mind (Moon) is in a storm, the body (Mars/Ascendant) feels the earthquake. The Astrological Perspective: Your chest constriction and stomach roiling are signs of "Agni-Vata" imbalance. Mars rules the blood and muscles; Mercury rules the nerves. When they clash in your chart, your body goes into "Fight or Flight" even if your mind is trying to be "Sattvic" (peaceful). The Planetary Remedy: Apply Warm Sesame Oil to your navel and the soles of your feet before bed. This "grounds" the Mars energy and prevents it from rising to the chest and throat. The Solution: Focus on "Somatic Grounding." When your chest tightens, don't try to "think" it away. Touch something cold, or press your feet hard into the floor. Reassure the "Animal Body" that there is no tiger in the room.
