How long does it take to overcome the initial sense of calm when you get over anxiety?

Name: Dev Date of Birth: 6 May 1992 Place of Birth: Ahmedabad Time: 11:45 AM. Lately, I have been feeling better after decades of anxiety. But now I'm feeling something odd, a sudden calm that is almost unnatural. It's like my body is not sure what to do with peace. I keep expecting the anxiety to return, and waiting in itself is stressing me out. Is this normal? How long does it take for the mind and body to get used to a calmer state after years of anxiety?

Namaste, Dev. Reaching a state of calm after decades of anxiety is a massive Karmic shift. You are likely entering a new Mahadasha (planetary period). Your body is used to high Adrenaline (Mars) and Cortisol (Saturn). This "odd calm" feels unnatural because your nervous system’s "idling speed" was set to "panic" for years. Your mind is "waiting for the other shoe to drop" because that is its survival habit. The Cause: "Neural Habituation." Your mind has outpaced your body’s chemical memory. Remedy & Solution:Acceptance: When the "odd calm" arrives, say to yourself: "This is my true nature. I am safe." ● Gentle Movement: Do Tai Chi or slow Yoga. This teaches the body that it can move without being in a "rush" or "panic." ● Mantra: Chant "Om Shanti" softly. Let the vibration convince your cells that the war is over. Action: Be patient. It takes about 90 days (one Mercury cycle) for the body to realize that "calm" is the new default setting. Don't stress about the stress; just observe the peace.
