Should I pay attention to my chakras or external objects while meditating?

I have practiced mindfulness meditation for more than a year now, where I pay attention to my breath, sounds, or feelings. It's kept me grounded and less anxious. But recently, I've begun learning about chakra meditation, and I don't know where to put my attention. Should I keep working on outer anchors such as breath and sound, or move inwardly towards my energy centers? I need to know what method yields more healing and if it's even possible to do both.

Greetings, Rohan! Born in Chandigarh at 6:55 AM, you are unsure whether to focus on "Breath/Sound" or "Energy Centers." The Problem: You want to know which method yields "More Healing" and if you can do both. The Solution: ● The "Breath" is the Bridge. ● Mindfulness (External Anchors): Builds the "Muscle of Attention." ● Chakra Meditation (Inner Focus): Uses that "Muscle" to heal. You should start with 10 minutes of "Mindfulness" to settle the mind, then move "Inward" to the chakras for 10 minutes. This is like "Warming Up" before "Weightlifting." Guided meditation third eye chakra work is much more effective if you are already "Grounded" by your breath. Remedy: Use Lapis Lazuli to help "Bridge" your external and internal worlds. When doing a guided meditation for third eye, use the "Sound of the Fan" or "Birdsong" as a background—don't fight the outside world; let it "push" you deeper into your guided meditation for opening the third eye.
