Should I tire my body with asanas before I start meditating?

Mera naam Suhani hai, mera man shant nahi hota, isliye kuch log kehte hain ki dhyan lagane se pehle sareer ko asanas se thakana zaroori hai. I feel the need to burn off my excess energy first to be still. Kya body ko thakane se mera man zyada focus karega, ya yeh meri anxiety ko aur badha dega because of the extra physical exertion? I need to know if this is counterproductive. (20 June 1998, 4 AM)
