Should my zodiac sign decide how I meditate?

I'm Rajiv from Jaipur DOB: 18/5/1999, 4:20 AM. My yoga teacher encouraged my friend who was an Aries to practice a moving meditation and not a silent one. It appears to suit her active temper. As a Gemini, I have never been able to sit long without moving, something that results in my instant anxiety. Is it possible to effectively fit your meditation type to the nature of an astrological sign as shown in the Kundali or is it a matter of taste only?
