What can I do to manage anxiety when therapy isn’t an option for me?
Name: Aditya Date of Birth: 18 August 2000 Place of Birth: Patna Time: 07:30 PM. Panditji, I reside in a small town and there is no access to therapists or mental health experts. I've had anxiety for months now with symptoms like racing thoughts, constricted chest, and persistent worry. I've attempted to talk it through with friends but they don't know what's happening to me. I was told my Mercury is debilitated. Might that be having an influence on this mental disturbance? I'd like to know if there are spiritual or practical means of controlling anxiety when professional assistance is not possible.

4 months agoHello Aditya. Living in a small town without a therapist is a challenge, but remember—Vedic Astrology was the first psychology. A Debilitated Mercury (Mercury in Pisces) means your mind is "poetic and intuitive" but lacks "logic and boundaries." You feel "Racing Thoughts" because your mind doesn't know where one thought ends and another begins. The Cause: A "Leaky" mind that lacks analytical filters. Remedy & Solution: ● The "Box" Breathing: Inhale 4, Hold 4, Exhale 4, Hold 4. This is a "Logic-based" breath that forces your Mercury to focus on numbers. ● Mercury Fortification: On Wednesdays, chant the Vishnu Sahasranama (or listen to it). Lord Vishnu is the ruler of Mercury and provides the "Order" your mind needs. ● Salt Healing: Put a small bowl of sea salt in the corners of your room. Salt absorbs the "static" of mental disturbance. Action: "Truth Talking." Since you have no therapist, talk to a Tree or the Sun. Vocalizing your thoughts into the "Ether" (ruled by Jupiter) releases the pressure.
