What should I do when I am worried about something which could actually go wrong soon?
Name: Meenal Date of Birth: 27 September 2004 Place of Birth: Jaipur Time: 10:00 AM. Panditji, I always worry about things that have not occurred but could go wrong. It's not crazy. Sometimes the fear is rooted in actual possibilities, such as flunking an exam or getting fired. But the anxiety becomes too much and I begin to fantasize about the worst-case scenario. I was advised that my Mercury is weak and Saturn is in my sixth house. Could this be making it harder for me to remain calm? I wish to know how to deal with anxiety when the fear is attached to something that actually may occur. How do I prepare without freaking out and remain reality-based?

4 months agoNamaste, Meenal. The UPSC/competitive exam environment is a marathon of Saturn. Having Saturn in the 6th House (house of competition) is actually a blessing—it gives you the ability to defeat rivals—but only if you master your own fear. Your "weak Mercury" makes you doubt your retention, and your "6th House Saturn" makes the syllabus look like a mountain of debt. Your worry isn't "crazy"; it's Saturnian Realism gone wrong. The Cause: A clash between your high ambition (Sun/Jupiter) and your nervous system's capacity (Mercury). Remedy & Solution: ● Mercury Strengthening: Wear a green thread on your right wrist. On Wednesdays, feed green moong dal to birds. ● The "Decision Tree" Journal: Write down the worst-case scenario. Then, write one "Saturnian" step you can take right now to prevent it. This moves the energy from "Fear" (Rahu) to "Logic" (Mercury). ● Mantra: Chant "Om Budhaya Namah" to strengthen your analytical mind and remove the "brain fog." Action: Use a "Worry Window." Give yourself 15 minutes at 5 PM to freak out. Outside of that window, tell your Saturn: "Not now, we are working.”
