Why do I cry while meditating? Is my awakening having some bad effect on my chakras?

Namaste everyone, I am Arvind from Nagpur. (2nd December, 1979, 4:28 PM) I was meditating as always, and suddenly I began to weep. Not because I was upset, but because I was overwhelmed. It was like something at a deep level was being let out. Could this be indicative that my chakras are adjusting within awakening? Is this usual, or am I in trouble?

Arvind, let us talk about this calmly, because what you described is actually very common during deeper meditation phases. When you practice chakra awakening meditation, emotions stored in the subtle body begin to surface gently. Crying during meditation is often linked to emotional release as you activate root chakra stability and move toward third eye awakening. It does not mean something bad is happening. During opening your third eye meditation, ajna chakra awakening symptoms can include tears, waves of emotion, or a feeling of being overwhelmed without sadness. This is your system letting go of old impressions safely. Think of it as an energetic detox rather than an imbalance. The key is to continue grounding practices, breathe slowly, and allow the process without judgment. Your chakras are adjusting, not breaking.
