Why do I wake up with racing thoughts sometimes?

Hello sir, I’m Megha, born in Hyderabad on 4th November 2002 at 10:05 PM. There are days when I suddenly wake up at night and my mind feels like it’s racing at 100 miles an hour. I can’t stop my thoughts, even if nothing serious is happening in my life. This makes me restless and I end up staying awake till morning. Is this linked to anxiety? Could my horoscope explain this restlessness and give remedies?

Hi Megha! It is so good to hear that you are not going through anything serious in your life!! Do you feel stressed out, or have depressive thoughts when you wake up? It might be linked to anxiety. Women usually undergo hormonal changes which might be a reason for it, like a rise in cortisol as you wake up. Or a lack of sleep can also contribute to racing thoughts. If you think going to a doctor won't be the solution to this, I would have to say astrology is a mere tool for self reflection. Please be rest assured, that you can turn to be a spiritual being and start your spiritual journey. Be open to this idea, and start meditating everyday. Light an incense, and sit in front of it and call on the higher power to guide you through it.

Hello Megha, Waking up with racing thoughts is a common sign of anxiety and insomnia stress. Even when life seems fine, the mind can become overactive, creating tension and restlessness. Your mental health chart can show tendencies toward heightened sensitivity, which may make these episodes more frequent. Coping strategies and sleep anxiety remedies focus on calming the mind before bed, using grounding routines, slow breathing, and mental relaxation techniques. Consistent practice helps reduce tension, improve emotional balance, and make sleep more restful. With gentle guidance and awareness, these restless nights gradually decrease, and the mind feels calmer and more stable upon waking.
