Why do anxious people tend to imagine they have a physical ailment rather?
Name: Kavya Date of Birth: 19 March 1996 Place of Birth: Hyderabad Time: 04:40 PM. Panditji, I observe that anxious people like me and others deny having anxiety and think that we suffer from some serious physical illness. I learned that my moon is in Pisces and I have a Ketu dasha. Could that be causing me emotionally avoidant or spiritually confused? Even when physicians rule out illnesses, I find myself thinking that they are overlooking something. I want to know why it's so difficult to accept a diagnosis of anxiety and why we hang on to the possibility of a medical condition. Is this denial, stigma fear, or something more in our psyche or astrological chart?

6 months agoNamaste, Kavya. Your observation is very profound. It is often easier to have a "broken body" than a "broken spirit." The Problem: With a Moon in Pisces and a Ketu Dasha, you are highly spiritual and intuitive, but also prone to "escapism." In our society, it is "socially acceptable" to be physically ill, but "shameful" to be anxious. Your mind chooses a "physical ailment" because it feels more "real" and "valid" than the invisible weight of anxiety. This is a "Defense Mechanism" of the ego. The Solution & Remedies: ● Validate the Anxiety: Start saying, "I am feeling anxious," instead of "I am feeling sick." By naming the true emotion, you take away its need to hide behind a physical symptom. ● Spiritual Grounding: Since Pisces is a water sign, you need "earth." Gardening or walking barefoot on grass (Earthing) will help you accept the physical reality over the "phantom" fears. ● Astrological Remedy: Wear a small piece of "Hessonite" (Gomed) only after expert consultation, or simply offer sugar to ants to pacify Ketu’s "confusion" energy.
