Why has my anxiety increased after three weeks of Transcendental Meditation practice every day?

Name: Mohima, Date of birth: 26 February 2000, Place of birth: Kolkata, Time: 7:55 AM. I meditated three weeks using Transcendental Meditation, hoping to feel calmer and grounded. To my surprise, my anxiety has increased. I am restless, cranky, and more sensitive to stress and noises. Why has my anxiety level risen after three weeks of regular practice of Transcendental Meditation? Is this a normal phase or is there something in my birth chart that can tell me why this technique is not resonating with my energy?

​Hello Mohima. TM uses a Mantra to dive into "pure consciousness." For some, this "dive" is too fast. If you have suppressed anxiety, the mantra acts like a shovel, digging it up faster than you can process it. This leads to the "crankiness" and "sensitivity" you feel. ​The Solution: Shorten your sessions. Instead of 20 minutes, do 5. And "ground" yourself immediately after by eating something crunchy or washing your face with cold water. ​Insight: Born Feb 26, you are a Pisces. Pisces is already very "connected" to the ether. TM might be making you "too open." You need more "Saturnian" (structuring) practices.
