Why just listening bowl tone to silence enough pure?

I don't do any fancy visualization or breathing. My name is Raj, DOB August 9, 1985. I just strike the bowl and listen intently until the sound completely disappears. My whole practice is just following that one tone into silence. Time: 5:40 AM. Location: Varanasi. It feels pure and simple. I wonder if this is "enough," or if I should be combining it with other methods to get the full benefit. For now, it's what feels most natural to me.

Namaste, Raj. Being from Varanasi, the "City of Silence and Sound," you have intuitively found the "Nada Yoga" path. Born August 9, 1985, you have a Ketu-dominant spiritual temperament. For you, "Fancy Visualizations" are just more "Noise." You seek the "Void" (Sunya). By following the tone until it disappears, you are practicing "Laya Yoga"—the yoga of dissolution. You are training your mind to merge with the Silence (The Soul) that remains after the Sound (The World) is gone. Detailed Solution: Is this "Enough"? Yes. In the Upanishads, this is considered one of the highest forms of meditation. You don't need to "Combine" it with anything if it feels natural. You are touching the 12th House (Liberation) energy every time you follow that tone into the "No-Thingness." Detailed Remedies:Timing: Practice at 4:00 AM (Brahma Muhurta) for the deepest "Pure" experience. ● Mudra: Use the "Shuni Mudra" (Thumb and Middle finger) to enhance patience and focus on the silence. ● Mantra: Chant "Aum" once at the very beginning to set the frequency.
