Why miss deeper experience with metal vs crystal bowl?

I have a simple metal bowl, but I see beautiful, expensive crystal ones online. My name is Anuj, born February 14, 1991. I wonder if I'm missing out on a deeper experience because of my choice of material. Time: 3:50 PM. Location: Mumbai. Is the pure, clear tone of a crystal bowl fundamentally different, or is it just a marketing gimmick? I don't know if the tool itself matters, or if it's all about the user's intention.
