Why then do I feel so nervous before coming to family meetings, even though I enjoy being with my family members?

I have worries in my head--what shall I say? something embarrassing. What should I do in case they all see my nervousness? During such an occasion, my heart fastens tightly and my thoughts are very fast and occasional times I sit and have my corner to myself and do not want to talk. I repeatthe experiences later, being exhausted and humiliated, and as a result, I shy away from the next meeting. I enjoy the company of relatives and families and I am a true control freak with anxiety. Is there a reason to why social situations with familiar individuals induce such high levels of fear and stress according to the concept of astrology?

Answer - Ishaan Ji, it is pretty normal to feel really nervous before family meetings even if you actually like spending time with them. So you do get scared for coming in the spotlight due to your actions. You start thinking about the meeting days before it happens. You get all worked up. Your mind starts racing. You feel tense. When you are at the meeting you are really aware of yourself and your heart beats fast. It gets hard to think of what to say. Sometimes, you just sit quietly. You do not talk to people because it is too much for you to handle. After the meeting is over you think about what happened and this makes you more anxious about the meeting. It makes you want to avoid them. This pattern reflects stress, perfectionism, and fear of judgment. It does not mean something is wrong with you. Increase your confidence gradually, you will feel at ease.
