Can mindfulness help me stop overthinking about my past mistakes?
Mera naam Aditi Sharma hai, aur main 5th January 2000 ko subah 11:00 bje Mumbai mein paida hui thi. Mujhe aksar apni purani galtiyaan ya situations yaad aati rehti hain, aur fir main overthink karne lagti hoon. Mere ek dost ne bola ki Headspace mindfulness try kar, shayad mind calm ho jaaye. Par kya sach mein mindfulness se thoughts control ho sakte hain, ya bas temporary calm milta hai?

Because of this, you tend to feel a lot of guilt regarding your past mistakes. The Mindfulness Solution: Overthinking or "Rumination" simply means the mind is stuck in the past. ● Control vs. Observation: Mindfulness does not teach you to "control" your thoughts; rather, it teaches you how to "observe" them without judgment. ● Temporary vs. Permanent: In the beginning, this might feel temporary. However, as you use Headspace daily, your brain learns to view "past mistakes" like an old movie playing on a screen. You eventually become detached from those thoughts, and that is where true peace lies.
