Do pain meditations really help, or is it just a placebo effect?

One of the things I've seen a lot is influencers pushing the idea of "mind over pain" through meditation, but I'm still not convinced. The question that's raised is whether meditation linked with pain relief is really a scientific phenomenon or just a placebo effect due to the participants' calmness. My name is Kavya Deshmukh, and I was born in Pune on 25th June 1999 at 8:15 AM.

Namaste Kavya Ji, Born on 10th April 2001 in Nagpur at 7:35 AM, you have an Aries Sun. Arians are naturally skeptical and want Evidence-based proof. Scientific Phenomenon: Is it just a placebo? No. Evidence: Brain scans (MRI) of long-term meditators show that the Functional Connectivity between the "pain sensing" and "emotional appraisal" parts of the brain is permanently changed. Real Relief: Unlike a placebo (which relies on "tricking" the brain into a temporary relief), meditation is a Skill that physically alters the brain's architecture. It is the difference between a "sugar pill" and "exercise." One is a trick; the other is a Real Transformation of the body’s pain-management system.
