Do short meditations actually make any difference in mood or focus?

Actually, just after stepping away from my study, I started to meditate for only 5 minutes. The result was such that it gave me a very refreshing feeling. I was really "living" the impact during the session, but still, I am questioning if these little and timely breaks can have an effect in the long term. Could these brief meditation practices lead to one becoming concentrated, stress relief, and mood elevation one day? My name is Harish Malhotra, and I was born in Delhi on 15th June 1997 at 3:50 PM.

Harish, with a Sagittarius influence, you look for the "Big Picture" and long-term results. You are prone to burning out because you give 100% to your studies and work. The Detailed Solution: In the realm of energy, consistency beats duration. A 5-minute daily "Micro-Meditation" is like charging your phone for a bit throughout the day versus letting it die. It strengthens the Prefrontal Cortex (the seat of focus). Over months, this builds "Neural Plasticity," making you naturally calmer even when you aren't meditating. The Remedy: Physical Anchor: Touch your thumb and index finger together (Gyan Mudra) during these 5 minutes to lock in the focus. Sunlight: Try to do your 5-minute session in morning sunlight to boost Serotonin.
