Do short mindfulness sessions really improve mood and patience?
I am Kavya Rani. I was born in Chennai on 14th April 2000 at 7:25 AM. Usually, I am impatient, and when small problems stack up, I get irritated at once, in particular. One thing I am regretful of a lot is that I rarely find time for long meditation sessions. So I would really like to know whether these short Headspace mindfulness sessions would make me feel better and have more patience. I am really impatient to discover if a brief daily practice can really change our stress response to a significant degree.

Small problems stack up and irritate you because your "emotional cup" is already full. The Mindfulness Solution: Short sessions (3-5 minutes) are highly effective for "Acute Stress Response." ● The Process: Headspace offers "Mini-meditations." When you feel that "irritation" rising, a 3-minute session acts as a "Circuit Breaker." ● The Change: It shifts your brain from the reactive "Old Brain" to the logical "New Brain." You don't need 30 minutes; you just need to "interrupt" the irritation cycle. Consistent short practice changes your "Stress Set-point," making you naturally more patient.
