How can I use mantras to manage anxiety caused by health worries?
My name is Priya Nair. I was born in Kochi on the 2nd of November 2000 at around 11:50 PM. I tend to be very health conscious about myself; a minor headache or stomach ache is sufficient to create a great deal of anxiety in me. Sometimes it happens that I feel my heart racing but I do not find any reason for it. I found out that the chanting of mantras like "Om Namah Shivaya" and "Om Shanti Om" can bring to the nervous system a state of calm and that anxiety can be decreased. I am willing to know if it might be a true help for a person like me who is always occupied with health issues. Do you want me to do the chanting several times a day or is one chanting in the morning enough? Besides this, is it a panic that can stop the panic attacks which bring about anxiety about my health?

5 months agoDear Priya, it is really good to be health conscious but please remember the more you fear things in your life and about yourself, it will come to haunt you twice more than you expected. What prevails is you having anxiety attacks. Which is okay, but not right all the time. I can feel that you are a strong person and it is in your hand to take control of the life irrespective of the outcome. Have faith in the higher power, and keep chanting the desired mantra every day. When the next time you are getting one, remember to go straight to the washroom and take a long good shower. Trust me, it helps wonders.
