How long should I meditate if I’m new and impatient?

I get irritated within a short span of time if I do not engage in physical activities. What duration of meditation would you recommend to a beginner so that good effects are produced and that the person does not feel bored? My name is Aakash Patel, and I was born in Ahmedabad on 22nd February 1998 at 11:10 AM.

Aakash, you have the Sun in Aries—the sign of the Warrior. You are built for action, not sitting. Impatience is your natural state because your internal "Mars" is always ready to move. The Detailed Solution: Do not try to meditate for 20 minutes; you will hate it. Start with 3 minutes. That’s it. In these 3 minutes, do "Power Breathing" (Fast inhales and exhales for 30 seconds, then 2.5 minutes of silence). The fast breathing satisfies your need for "action," making the subsequent silence easier to handle. The Remedy: Post-Exercise: Meditate immediately after a workout. When the body is tired, the mind is most compliant. Red Color: Avoid meditating in a red room; choose green to balance your fire.
