What’s the difference between guided meditation and just sitting quietly?
For sure, I am unable to tell you which of the two guided meditations or simply sitting quietly would be the most beneficial to me. If I had known what the difference was between these two and how to choose one, I would have been able to decide. My name is Meera Pillai, and I was born in Kochi on 15th June 1999 at 10:20 PM.

3 months agoMeera, your Moon in Virgo likes instructions and "blueprints." You often feel lost without a map. The Detailed Solution: ● Guided: Like a GPS. Someone tells you where to turn. Great for beginners or when you are very stressed and can't lead yourself. ● Sitting Quietly (Silent): Like exploring a forest without a map. Harder, but builds more "mental muscle." ● The Choice: For the first 30 days, use Guided. Once you feel your "Internal Compass" is strong, switch to Silence for the last 2 minutes of your session. The Remedy: ● Bell: Use a meditation timer with a soft bell at the start and end to create a "container" for your practice. ● Oil: Apply a drop of Brahmi oil on your temples to enhance mental clarity.
