Can I be social despite having social anxiety?

Name: Rohan Date of Birth: 27 August 1999 Place of Birth: Hyderabad Time: 10:20 PM. I love being around others, but at the same time, I get thoroughly worked up before a social gathering. I'm afraid of speaking the wrong word, being criticized, or simply freezing up. There are times that I even cancel invitations despite the desire to attend. It's paradoxical because I desire connection but am afraid of interaction. Can one be social and have social anxiety? Or am I just faking to be someone I am not? I wish to know how to mix and match my anxiety with my need for company.

Namaste, Rohan. Your August birth in Hyderabad suggests a Leo/Virgo blend—you want to shine, but you're a perfectionist. The Cause: This is the "Performer’s Paradox." You love people (Venus) but fear their judgment (Saturn). You aren't faking; you have a dual nature where your social needs and your safety needs are at war. Remedy & Solution:Mantra: Chant the Gayatri Mantra 11 times before leaving for a party. ● Gemstone: An Amethyst bracelet will help balance the "highs" of excitement and the "lows" of anxiety. ● Action: Be the "Host." If you have a task (like pouring drinks or introducing people), your mind focuses on the duty rather than the anxiety.
