Can I beat anxiety simply by changing the way I think about it?

Name: Tanya Date of Birth: 11 July 1997 Place of Birth: Nagpur Time: 12:10 PM. I've heard others say that anxiety is all a matter of attitude — that if you can get your thoughts right, you can conquer it. But when I'm anxious, it's not just mental: my chest constricts, my stomach lurches, and I feel threatened. I try to focus on the positive, but it's not always successful. Can you really overcome anxiety by thinking in a different way, or is that simplifying it too much?

Hello Tanya. Born in Nagpur in July, your Cancerian energy makes you feel "the lurch in the stomach" very deeply. Tanya, you asked if "thinking differently" is enough. In astrology, the mind is Mercury and the feeling is The Moon. Thinking differently is a Mercury tool. But the "lurch in the stomach" is a Moon/Mars physical response. You cannot "think" your way out of a physical "lurch" any more than you can "think" your way out of a broken leg. You must treat the body and the mind together. The Cause: A "Mind-Body Disconnect." Your Mercury is trying to "logic" away a Lunar "fear response." Remedy & Solution:The Breath-Thought Link: Instead of "Positive Thinking," use "Focused Breathing." When the stomach lurches, don't say "I am happy." Say "I am breathing in, I am breathing out." This calms the Moon first. ● Pearl or Moonstone: Wear a Moonstone to stabilize the "gut feeling" (Moon rules the stomach). ● Mantra: Chant "Om Shanti Shanti Shanti". The word "Shanti" (Peace) is a vibrational frequency that calms the physical cells. Action: "Reframing the Lurch." When your chest constricts, tell your brain: "My body is preparing me with energy for a challenge." Don't call it "Anxiety"; call it "Adrenaline." This tiny "Mercury shift" changes how the "Moon" feels the sensation
