Can I overcome anxiety while preparing for competitive exams?

Name: Meenal Date of Birth: 27 September 2004 Place of Birth: Jaipur Time: 10:00 AM. Panditji, I am studying for the UPSC exams and I am worried each and every day. The syllabus is huge, and I am always feeling behind. My heart accelerates when I glance over the timetable and I've begun to steer clear of mock tests as they cause me to panic. They said my Mercury is weak and Saturn is in the sixth house. Could that be a reason why I can't remain calm and composed? Please advise me on how to deal with this anxiety without losing traction.

Namaste, Meenal. The UPSC is a marathon of Saturn. Having Saturn in the 6th House (house of competition) is actually a blessing—it gives you the ability to defeat rivals—but only if you master your own fear. Your "weak Mercury" makes you doubt your retention, and your "6th House Saturn" makes the syllabus look like a mountain of debt. Panic during mock tests is a "Mercury-Rahu" shadow. You are fearing the outcome rather than focusing on the input. The Cause: A clash between your high ambition (Sun/Jupiter) and your nervous system's capacity (Mercury). Remedy & Solution:Mercury Strengthening: Wear a Small Emerald or a green thread. Feed green moong dal to birds on Wednesdays. ● The Mock Test Ritual: Before a test, sit in Vajrasana (Thunderbolt pose) for 5 minutes. It stabilizes the stomach and the mind. ● Mantra: Chant "Om Budhaya Namah" to strengthen your analytical mind. Action: "Strategic Ignorance." Stop looking at the whole syllabus. Divide it into "Saturnian Blocks." Focus only on the block for today. If the mind wanders to the exam day, pull it back to the page in front of you.
