How do I deal with my anxiety when I can't even speak to those that I know?

Name: Aarti Date of Birth: 17th July 1999 Place of Birth: Varanasi Time: 7:25 PM. I can hardly talk to the few I do know, much less strangers. Even basic conversations seem like scaling a mountain. I practice what I will say, freeze during a sentence, and then don't speak at all. It's not that I don't want to make connections, I just feel stuck. I'm sick of losing out on friendships and possibilities due to this. How do I begin to break this habit and learn to speak without fear?

Namaste, Aarti. Born in the holy city of Varanasi, you carry the deep spiritual vibrations of the Ganges, yet you find yourself unable to speak even to those you love. Aarti, your chart shows a deep affliction in the 2nd House (Speech and Family) and the 3rd House (Willpower and Communication). Being born in July 1999, your Moon is likely in a position that makes you "absorb" the expectations of your family like a sponge. When you say you "freeze during a sentence," it is because your "Vishuddha" (Throat) Chakra is literally being choked by "Ancestral Karma." You feel that if you speak your true thoughts, you might disrupt the harmony of the family or be misunderstood. Even with friends, the "Fear of Being Seen" is so intense because you have been conditioned (perhaps by a strong Rahu or Ketu influence) to keep your inner world hidden for safety. The Cause: This is "Vak-Dosha" (speech imbalance). It stems from a lack of "Agni" (Fire) in your communication. Your words are too "Watery"—they flow back into yourself instead of out to the world. The Remedy: The "Voice of the Ganga"The Blue Thread Ritual: Wear a blue silk thread around your neck or wrist. Blue is the color of the Throat Chakra. Every time you touch it, remind yourself that your voice has a right to exist. ● Conch Shell Therapy: If possible, keep a small Shankh (Conch shell) in your room. Listening to its sound or blowing it (if you can) clears the "ether" around your speech center. ● Mantra: The most powerful remedy for you is the Saraswati Mantra: "Om Aim Saraswatyai Namah." Chant this while looking at a flame (Deepak) to add "Fire" to your speech. The Long-Term Solution:The "Shadow-Talk" Method: Start by recording yourself talking on your phone. Just talk about your day for 2 minutes. Listen to it. Realize that your voice is kind and valid. This bridges the gap between your "Inner Voice" and the "External World." ● Small Circles: Don't try to scale the mountain of "group talk" yet. Commit to asking one person one question every day. For example, ask a friend, "What was the best part of your day?" This puts the focus on them and takes the "spotlight" off your frozen speech.
