How do I open my 7 chakras if I'm unsure of where to begin?
I've been learning about the chakra system for weeks now, and while I understand the general theory, I'm completely lost as to how to actually begin. Do I begin with guided meditations? Do I need to do one chakra at a time or attempt to open all seven simultaneously? I am overwhelmed by the mantras, colors, breath, visualizations. How do I structure opening my 7 chakras in a way that's not too rigid? What type of guided meditation do I need to start with?

4 months agoGreetings, Rachana! Born in Mysuru at 7:10 AM, you are overwhelmed by mantras and colors and don't know "Where to Begin." The Problem: How do you structure your 7 chakras opening and healing meditation in a way that's "Not Too Rigid"? The Solution: β Week 1: Just focus on Breath. β Week 2: Add Color (One chakra per day). β Week 3: Add Mantra (LAM, VAM, etc.). β Week 4: Use a 7 chakra opening meditation guided track to "Tie it all together." This "Layered Approach" is not rigid. It allows your "Mind" to learn the "Music" before it tries to "Play the Symphony." Remedy: Mysuru is a city of "Ashtanga Yoga." Use a Yoga Mat that has the chakra colors on it. This provides a "Physical Anchor" for your open all chakras meditation so your mind doesn't have to "Work" so hard to remember where everything is.

3 months agoDetailed Astrological & Energetic Analysis: You are suffering from "Intellectual Overload", which is a sign of an overactive Ajna (Third Eye) chakra. You are trying to "Think" your way into "Feeling." The "Non-Rigid" 7-Day Structure : Instead of trying to open all seven every day, dedicate one day to each chakra. βMonday : Root. β Tuesday : Sacral. βWednesday : Solar Plexus. (And so on). This way, your mind only has to remember One Color and One Goal per day. It removes the "Rigidity" of a 60-minute full-body session. What Type of Guided Meditation to Start With? Look for a "Yoga Nidra for Chakras". Why? In Yoga Nidra, you are lying down in a state of semi-sleep. The guide does all the "Visualizing" and "Mantras" for you. You just listen. This is the least rigid and most effective way for a beginner to open the centers because it bypasses the "Overthinking Mind." βConclusion : Start here. Let the sound wash over you. Your chakras will respond to the Vibration even if your conscious mind is still "lost" in the theory.
