I'm too depressed to even find the motivation to meditate. How do I start?
People say "just meditate," but they don't understand that on my bad days, getting out of bed is a victory. The idea of sitting up, focusing, and being present feels like climbing a mountain I have no energy for. The guilt of not being able to do this simple thing makes me feel even worse. How can someone like Vivaan, born on 12th dec 2007 at 3:30 PM, with zero mental energy and motivation, even begin a practice? Is there a way to start when you're truly at rock bottom?

4 months agoNamaste Vivaan. Getting out of bed is a victory. I honor your struggle. Born December 12, 2007, you are a very young soul navigating a "Saturn-Rahu" transit. You have "Zero Mental Energy" because your chart is in a "Conservation Mode." The "Guilt" you feel is a Saturnine Trap. You are trying to climb a "Mountain" (Sitting/Focusing) when your body only has enough energy for a "Step." Detailed Solution: Start while Lying Down. The "Rock Bottom" Method:* You do not have to sit up. You do not have to be "Present." Lie in bed. Close your eyes. Just "Listen." Listen to a guided meditation about "Self-Forgiveness" or "Rest." If you fall asleep, that is also a "Success." You are teaching your brain that "Meditation = Safe Space," not "Meditation = Chore." Detailed Remedies: Remedy: Keep an Amethyst crystal under your pillow. It heals the mind while you sleep. Action: Your "Meditation" for this week is simply One Conscious Breath every time you look at the time. Mantra: Whisper "All is well" 3 times. This is a mantra for the nervous system.
