Is it possible for meditation to overcome fear and anxiety? If so, what type of meditation would work for overcoming such feelings?

Name: Sneha Date of Birth: 3 March 1990 Place of Birth: Pune Time: 06:30 AM. Namaste, I’ve been dealing with anxiety and fear for years. It appears as racing thoughts, panic all of a sudden, and this awful feeling of dread. I've heard meditation will help, but I don't know where to start. I’ve tried guided meditations on YouTube, but they don’t seem to work for me. I'd like to know if there's a particular style of meditation that would be more appropriate for a person such as myself. And my moon is in Pisces, plus I'm in the middle of a Rahu dasha. Might that have something to do with my emotional volatility?
