Should I use a meditation cushion? Are they really necessary, or can I just do it on the floor?

Hello, I'm Ananya, I prefer keeping it simple and meditate best without additional aids. Does astrology indicate if I really need a cushion for support, or if I'm one who can just adjust naturally?

Hello Anaya, you do not need any meditation cushion if you feel comfortable without it. It is just for comfort and has no other use. In the beginning it might feel little uncomfortable to sit but gradually you will get use to it. I suggest you to do some basic stretching and deep breathing before meditation. Here is one very effective meditation you can try at home: 1.Take a bowl or tub of warm water. Sit in a quiet room. 2.Add spoon of rock salt if possible. This helps absorb negative energy. 3.Play a soft cosmic “Om” sound in the background. Keep the volume low. 4. Place your feet in the water. Close your eyes. 5. Take slow deep breaths. Inhale through your nose. Exhale through your mouth. 6. Imagine all the negativity is going into water and water is turning black. 7. Do this practice for 10 minutes and flush the water after that NOTE - Make sure you do it regularly for 21 days to see results
