What are some ways to cope with symptoms of anxiety like tension and headache while getting ready for an exam?
Name: Kabir Date of Birth: 11 June 2006 Place of Birth: Delhi Time: 03:15 PM. I'm taking my board exams and I'm so stressed out. As soon as I sit down to study, I develop a headache and my shoulders tense up. It's as if my body rejects the tension even before I start. I've tried having breaks and drinking water, but the tension remains. I worry this will affect my performance. Can one handle such physical symptoms of anxiety while remaining focused on preparation?

4 months agoGreetings, Kabir. Board exams are a Mercury-Saturn test. Your body is "rejecting" the tension because your Mars (energy) has nowhere to go. Headache and shoulder tension are signs of Vata (Air) getting stuck in the upper body. In astrology, the shoulders are ruled by the 3rd House (effort). You are "trying too hard," which causes Mercury to "overheat." The Cause: Performance pressure creating a block in the flow of Prana. Remedy & Solution: ● The Ice Reset: When the headache starts, hold an ice cube in your palm. The sudden temperature shift forces the "Air" to descend from your head. ● Neck Rotations: Do 10 slow rotations before studying. Visualize "Saturn’s weight" leaving your shoulders. ● Brahmi Ghrita: A small spoonful of Brahmi ghee helps sharpen the memory (Mercury) and cool the brain. Action: The "Pomodoro for Planets." Study for 50 minutes (Saturnian focus), then move physically for 10 minutes (Mars release). Do not check your phone during the break; Mercury needs rest, not more data.
