What should I do when I get anxiety attacks out of the blue?

Name: Mehul Date of Birth: 18 July 1998 Place of Birth: Ahmedabad Time: 11:30 AM. Sometimes my anxiety strikes out of the blue — my chest constricts, my mind speeds up, and I feel as though I'm careening out of control. At that point, I don't have time for lengthy meditations or extensive therapy exercises. I need an immediate something that makes me feel anchored and secure. How do you best manage anxiety in the moment when it suddenly overwhelms you?

Greetings, Mehul. Born in Ahmedabad in July, your Cancerian/Lunar nature makes you susceptible to sudden "tidal waves" of emotion. Mehul, "Out of the blue" attacks are usually transitory triggers—the Moon moving over a sensitive degree in your chart or a "Rahu-Ketu" square. Your chest constricting is the Anahata (Heart) Chakra closing in a "panic-grip." You don't have time for long therapy in those moments because your Mars (Adrenaline) has completely hijacked your Mercury (Logic). You need an "Emergency Earth" intervention. The Cause: An "Electrical Overload." Your body's "circuit breaker" has tripped. Remedy & Solution:The "Ice Reset": Hold an ice cube in your palm or splash ice-cold water on your face. This "shocks" the Vagus Nerve (ruled by Mercury) and forces the "Fire" to come back down from the head. ● Grounding Mudra: Press your thumb and index finger together hard (Gyan Mudra) and focus only on the pressure. ● Mantra: A short, sharp mantra like "Ram" (the mantra of Mars/Fire) can help burn off the "cold fear." Action: "The 5-Senses Anchor." Immediately name: 5 things you see, 4 you can touch, 3 you hear, 2 you smell, 1 you taste. This forces your "Rahu-mind" to return to the "Earth-body.”
