What should a teen like me do to overcome anxiety when we are alone at home?

Name: Aarav Date of Birth: 22 February 2008 Place of Birth: Mumbai Time: 09:10 PM. I am 17 and usually spend time at home alone when my parents work late into the evening. I am okay in the daytime, but as soon as night falls, my anxiety increases. I begin to think worst-case scenarios, even though I know I am safe. There are no distractions, nobody to chat with, and I'm stuck in my head. I try to watch YouTube videos or listen to music, but nothing works. How can I feel safe and relaxed in my own home when I'm by myself?

Hello Aarav. At 17, born in Mumbai, you are navigating the transition from the Moon (childhood) to Mercury (youth). Night-time anxiety is often linked to a sensitive Moon. When the Sun (the protector) sets, the subconscious (the Moon) becomes dominant. If you have Gemini influence, your mind seeks "content" but ends up feeding on "fear" when left alone. YouTube and music are "distractions," but they don't provide the "energetic grounding" you need. The Cause: A "Lunar Void." Without external light or company, your mind fills the space with Rahu-influenced "worst-case scenarios." Remedy & Solution:The Golden Light: Keep a small lamp with a warm yellow bulb in the corner of your room. Yellow is the color of Jupiter (wisdom/protection) and counters the dark illusions of Rahu. ● Vedic Sound: Instead of pop music, play "Om" chanting or "Binaural Beats" (432 Hz) at a low volume. These frequencies stabilize the lunar waves. ● Mantra: Chant "Om Namah Shivaya" when the sun sets. Shiva is the lord of the Moon and provides a sense of "cosmic fatherhood" when you are physically alone. Action: Start a "Night Project"—something physical like sketching or building models. This gives your Gemini mind a "Saturnian task," preventing it from wandering into the shadows.
