Why am I always winded even when I'm not exercising?
Name: Nikita Date of birth: 2 February 1999 Place of birth: Mumbai Time: 7:20 AM I've been short of breath for the last few months even when I'm only sitting or lying down. Not asthma or any physical illness. I had tests conducted and everything is normal. But the shortness of breath keeps on happening, especially when I'm under stress. Why am I always short of breath even though I'm not doing any physical activity? I want to know whether this is a generalized anxiety disorder symptom and how to deal with it without panicking every time it happens.

4 months agoNamaste, Nikita. Shortness of breath when sitting still is a classic "Air Element" (Vata) imbalance. In the chart, the lungs are ruled by the 4th House and the sign Gemini. The Reason: When Mercury (ruler of Gemini) is agitated, the breath becomes shallow. This is "Air Hunger." Your body is physically fine, but your nervous system is convinced it's running a marathon. The Solution & Remedies: ● Pranayama: Specifically Bhramari (Bee breath). The vibration calms the brain's "suffocation alarm." ● Oil Massage: Massaging the chest area with warm oil helps "ground" the air element in the lungs.
