Why do I feel trapped and panicked when talking to strangers, even though I’ve consulted specialists before?
Name: Meera Desai Date of Birth: 4th February 2005 Place of Birth: Mumbai Time of Birth: 6:50 PM I feel my chest squeezing my heart and my heart beating wildly even during such basic contact as meeting strangers at a cafe, in a queue, at the store. I have also visited a doctor and done certain recommended exercises, yet the anxiety has not subsided. I went to an astrologer as well, and I failed to get a clear explanation on why I am so panicked. I have not been engaging with people in the past one year, yet I desire to do it. Is that the reason that I have such a strong response in simple social contexts? Astrology? Do I have positions on planets that cause me to be more sensitive to perceived judgment?

Even if you just say hello you can feel really scared. Your body reacts strongly. You want to get out of there. You have talked to doctors. Tried to do things to help yourself feel better.. Sometimes social anxiety with panic responses does not go away because your body has learned to think that new people are a threat. You want to make friends and talk to people. At the same time you are afraid of them. This makes you feel confused and scared inside. That makes the panic even worse. Social anxiety, with panic responses is still something you have to deal with. When we avoid things for a time like over the past year it might make us feel a little better for a while but it also keeps our fear going. This is not a reaction. Our body is just trying really hard to keep us safe. The thing is, our body is trying hard to protect us. If we give it some time and we are gradually exposed to the things that scare us and we learn to calm down our system then our body will not react as strongly to these things. This can really help to soften our reaction, to the things that frighten us like the fear that we have been living with for long. (Astrology reference): So your Aquarius Sun, which is on February 4 is connected to being really aware of what's going on with other people and how they see you. Some people who study the planets think that when you are stressed you might feel like you are watching yourself from the outside and you do not get too emotional. This can sometimes feel like you are being really self-conscious. The thing is, the stars and planets do not make you have panic attacks or get really nervous around other people. It does not mean that you are born to be afraid of people you do not know. There are a lot of people with the Aquarius Sun who are really confident when they are, around other people so this is not something that has to happen to you. Your Aquarius Sun is a part of who you are but it is not the only thing that decides how you feel and act. Astrology can offer metaphorical insight into temperament, but your symptoms arise from learned stress responses. Healing lies in retraining safety, not in planetary positions.
