Why do my anxiety symptoms stay for such a long time even after the cause has passed?

Name: Neeraj Date of Birth: 8 August 1995 Place of Birth: Pune Time: 10:25 AM. Whenever I feel anxious, the symptoms don't pop in and out. They stick around for several hours or even days. My chest feels tight, I get dizzy, and I have this awful feeling of impending doom that doesn't go away quickly. I've attempted breathing exercises and distraction methods, but they're only temporary fixes. I do not know why my body remains in this condition for such a long time. How long do symptoms of anxiety last and why do they remain even after the cause has vanished?

Hello Neeraj. Born in Pune with the Sun in Leo, you are meant to shine with confidence, but a persistent "feeling of doom" is currently dimming your light. Neeraj, when anxiety symptoms linger long after the trigger is gone, it indicates that your nervous system (Mercury) is stuck in a loop. In your chart, Mercury might be influenced by Ketu, which is the planet of "tails" and lingering past energy. This "tight chest" and "dizziness" are physical manifestations of Prana (life force) being blocked in the heart center (Anahata Chakra). The reason breathing exercises feel temporary is that they address the air, but not the "stagnant energy" in your subtle body. The Cause: An imbalance between your Solar energy (Sun in Leo) and your Mental energy (Mercury). Your body is trying to "burn off" anxiety, but it’s taking days because your grounding (Earth element) is weak. Remedy & Solution:Earth Connection: Walk barefoot on green grass for 15 minutes every morning. This "earths" the lingering electrical charge of anxiety. ● Oil Massage: Apply warm sesame oil to the soles of your feet before bed. This pacifies the "Vata" energy that keeps you in a state of doom. ● Ritual: Offer water to a Peepal tree on Saturdays to appease Saturn, who governs the "long duration" of symptoms.
