Can aura chakra cleansing help me release my past life karma?

So, the thing is that. I always feel like I have some bad karmic past life. I have done something wrong in my previous life to have this kind of unsuccessful life now. So, doesn't our aura chakra keeps all the karmic energy. If I do aura chakra cleansing, would it help me to release my bad karmic energy or even help me realise what have I been doing wrong?
