Can doing my grandmother's aura cleansing affect her?

So, following online instructions and using my own mind, I have tried doing this aura chakra cleansing for my grandmother. I don't know if that can be done or not. I don't know if it is only my mind playing tricks, but it feels like she is being a lot calmer than before. Is it true? Can I really do it for my grandmother?
