Does aromatherapy influence my aura balancing?

From a suggestion of a colleague of mine, I started doing aromatherapy. Because, those days my work was really hectic and I developed anger issues too. Aromatherapy helped me a lot. So, today while I was going through facebook, people were talking about balancing aura and aura chakras... is that also a type of aromatherapy? I mean, aura felt like so, just like when I do aromatherapy. Is that what it is?
