Geeta Vatika, situated in Gorakhpur, is a revered temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha, symbolizing love in Hindu culture. Gorakhpur's Geeta Vatika Temple was established by Sant Bhaiji Hanuman Prasad Poddar. Initially known as Goyandka Garden, the land was acquired in 1933, and sanctified idols were placed by Sant Hanuman Prasad Poddar in 1945. Since then, the temple has attracted devotees seeking divine love and blessings.
Exemplifying the traditional Nagara style of architecture, Geeta Vatika features 16 sanctums and 35 pinnacles. Apart from housing various deities, the temple also includes idols of Bhaiji Hanuman Prasad Poddar and his wife, Ramdei Poddar. The temple's parikrama path showcases exquisite tableaus and exhibits based on Vedas, Upanishads, and the Bhagavad Gita. Additionally, there's a sanctum at the rear of the main temple dedicated to Maharishi Narada and Maharishi Angira, along with Bhaiji Hanuman Prasad Poddar's Samadhi.
